  1. I like to put together “snacky” things…like a variety of hummus – I have great recipes for a sun dried tomato hummus and a black bean hummus – and other dips along with pita chips, crackers, and veggies. Amy Upshaw’s hot corn dip is always a hit and so easy to make. Add to the dips a fresh salad and you’ve got yourself good company food in no time with no sweat!

  2. Our favorite dish to toss together is spaghetti and meatballs. We’ve got a quick and simple recipe for the meatballs and everything is an if you want it or not meal. One of the things I love is that it’s a start and walk away meal. So if we have guests in the house for the majority of the day, I can start things and just check back in on them every so often. Keeps me from feeling cooped up in the kitchen.

  3. Lasagna, salad, & bread. All can be made earlier (no mess to deal with) and more time to enjoy our guests!! Unless, of course, id rather be holed up in the kitchen “ignoring” certain guests… (j/k never happen!)

  4. My favorite “company” or work luncheon dish that I love to make is my Grandmother’s taco casserole with a green salad and garlic bread! When I worked for a certain company, I tripled the recipe and it was still gone before everyone got some. I have never had leftovers with this dish. It is just amazing!

  5. I like to do easy finger foods. My favorite thing to do is green bean bundles. SO GOOD! I also like to make tortilla roll ups. You mix cream cheese and rotel, spread it on a tortilla and roll them up then cut them in little bite size rolls. I also make a cream cheese/dried beef dip. It is always a hit! You use cream cheese, dried beef and green onion. I guess it goes without saying that I like cream cheese. 🙂 And cupcakes!

  6. I love putting together easy oven pork chop recipes. Pork Chops in cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken and sour cream, barbeque, etc. Mix, throw in oven and just wait!
