Should my employers ever decide to do away with the paycuts implemented last March, Hubs and I need to start overhauling our 1955 house.
We need a new roof. A remodeled kitchen. Rewiring in the master bedroom. And then there’s this:

Exhibit A

Exhibit B
No, we are not looking to revamp that cute little boy.
My problem is with the bathroom’s atrocious color scheme. The floor is pink. The wall tile is salmon. And the border (top and bottom) is BURGUNDY.
Can I fix this by painting the currently white walls? Do I need to go so far as to address the wall or floor tile? Is there a way to make this a cute retro bathroom without spending too much money?
Help.
You need to talk to my art teacher friend, Sha.
She took her out dated bathroom and painted the top part to look like the galaxy – totally cool!
She also painted super hereos on her son’s wall.

Not to outdo you, but I totally top you in ugly 1950’s bathrooms. Our floor is newer, but our walls, toilet, sink, and bathtub are all this pinkish taupe color. It is awful. We won’t even go into the layout of the room. The wall paper has chickens, cowboys, and Indians. Seriously, what adult chooses that kind of wall paper.
We are going to install a new sink and toilet and use rebath for the walls and tub. We are also going to install a new HEATED floor.

I think you can get tile spray painted, but I don’t know how well that works or how long it lasts. Maybe you can do things little by little to spread out the cost?
